About Venus Rising
A Career Building Relationships
My background is in business development - across diverse industries (energy efficiency, fintech, CPG brand management). I have a track record of building trusted partnerships across sectors and geographies. I have always had a passion for connecting people, ideas, and opportunities—driving growth through strategy, clarity, and authentic collaboration.
Education
With an Executive MBA, Global Business from Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business, a BA in Psychology from Vanderbilt University (and a Contemporary Art degree from Christie's in London), I like to bring my analytical and creative skills to the work that Venus Rising does. I am a lifelong learner and bring a 'growth mindset' strategy to clients.
Board Service
Venus Rising started out - working with women, and I am passionate about empowering women of all ages. Because of this, I am an Advocate Member of OnBoard (helping increase the number of women on corporate boards) and a Board Member of Girl Talk, Inc. (providing peer-led leadership programs for girls).
The Framework
Executive Presence is a set of behaviors - that we exhibit and that others interpret. We use a framework that outlines these behaviors, gives instructions on how to learn and deploy them - and then we work with clients to build personalized action plans to 'strengthen EP muscles'.
Certifications
Executive presence assessment tools are critical for the effectual and efficient delivery of the executive presence programs that we provide our clients. I am certified in 'Stewart Leadership Executive Presence' as well as in 'Bates ExPI'.

"Authenticity is your competitive advantage. Nobody can be you the same way that you can be you."
– Carla Harris, Senior Advisor, Morgan Stanley

“Doing the closet analysis was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I realized that my fashion sense was essentially frozen in what I thought was appropriate business wear back in high school and college. Fundamentally, having a better understanding of the styles, colors, and personality I want in my clothing has completely changed how I look at anything, whether or not I even consider buying it.”
